How do i earn money from this network?
Its simple - when you publish a post into one of our blogs, we broadcast it throughout our network. From thereon, a whole bunch of things happen. Readers come over to read what you're writing about. Those who like it, bookmark it in Digg, Reddit or Newsvine. And that attracts a huge wave of new readers.
Earning directly to your Google AdSense Account
Whenever someone reads your entry, you are earning money directly to your Google AdSense account. How? Because your Contributor's sig, which appears below each and every post you make, will include your own Google AdSense code. Like this. It also includes the link to your own blog, and that will mean more readers visiting your blog.
STARTING IN MAY :: Become a top earner
As of May 2007, our blogs will be showing ads from Clicksor/Google AdSense, as we show here.
10% of those earnings will be put back into the community and divided equally among our best contributors as a form of incentive to keep up the good work.
Every 15 days, we pick the top 10 contributors (those who've contributed the most) will be picked to receive this prize money!
Long-term profitability
The great thing about our system is that the posts you make today will still be earning you money this time next year, and the year after that. This is thanks to our Golden Posts script, which randomly plucks posts from the blog's archive and features them in the sidebar. Given their central position, posts featured in the Golden Posts generally attract up to 20% of all our daily visitors.
| Successful blogging |
| Great blogging isn't just a matter of being a good writer. You must be aware of what's happening around you, be it in politics, sports or in the entertainment business. Fundamentally, you must have the ability to incite debate. And that's what makes a good blogger! |

Getting started
In review
You can start posting immediately, but your sig won't go live just yet. First we want to screen out the spammers from the real bloggers.
We'll begin the review process after you have made a minimum of 10 posts. Follow the simple rules and you should have no problems in passing. How long will the review process take? If you make your first 10 posts today, we'll review you tomorrow.
POST-REVIEW
If you pass the review, we will immediately turn on your sig and it will appear under every post you've made.
You will also receive a list of other blogs from our network open for you to blog in. The more you blog, the more you get in return.

There are dozens of blogs within our network. And as soon as we complete the review process with you, we will send you the list of blogs that you will be allowed to blog in. For now, we've chosen a random blog from our network for you to start blogging in.

Rules for contributors
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
The first thing you should know is that there is always someone watching and reading what's being posted in our blogs.
You can start posting immediately, but your sig won't go live just yet. First we want to screen out the spammers from the real bloggers. So, you must first make 10 posts to make sure you are one of us! Follow the simple rules and you should have no problems in passing.
Golden Rules
We reserve the right to reject anybody.
We reserve the right to change or reject any post. Live links in posts are not accepted.
Live links in "Comments" - Only internal links will be accepted.
Plariarism will not be tolerated.
Now, read on...
POSTING GUIDELINES Needless to say, racism, sexism or other discrimination will not be tolerated. Swearing is not nice either.
Auto-promotion. Don't bother submitting posts about a website or product. Its not what we're looking for, so such posts will be deleted.
Plagiarism is a crime. We don't want it in our blogs. Be original. And, by the way, we do check for copy-cats!
Photos. Just to keep things simple for now, we are not encouraging this option. If you really, really want to add a photo to your posts, email it to us ( blogphoto _at _ the-c-channel.com ), so we can get it uploaded for you.
PROFIT-SHARING
Share of profits with the top 10 contributors
The top 10 contributors are those who have made the most posts. However, we want to award those who have strived the hardest. So, we do reserve the right to pick the top 10 contributors at our discretion. Plus, the golden rules do state that we reserve the right to reject any post. Its not just a matter of posting 50 entries a day. We also look for consistent, quality blogging.
Bookmarking. *** We vividly and openly encourage bookmarking. However, using the Comments box to solicit for bookmarks from fellow contributors is wrong and such comments will be deleted.
| Make it a daily habit... |
| Check out The Editor's Bookmarks and see what's been bookmarked at Digg, Reddit, etc. Choose the posts you like and cast your votes for them, so that more web-surfers can come over to the blog and read what we're writing. |
NOTE
This area will be updated regularly. No warning will be sent out, so do come and visit again, every so often. |
| Every bookmark attracts loads of new readers ... to read what you're writing |
If you like a post by by another contributor, bookmark it. Then use the Comments box to tell them why you bookmarked their post and invite them to read your latest post too!
The likeliest outcome is that they will...and they may even bookmark you too! *** |
Faq's
How many blogs will I be able to post in from the network?
Once you pass the review procedure, we'll gradually start opening up other blogs for you to post in. You'll have a vast selection of blogs to choose from for your daily posting. The more blogs you contribute to, the more money you earn. And your own blog will also be backlinked to all these blogs, which will help you raise your page-rank in search engines.
Why should I bother posting in more than one blog?
OK, so you don't get the picture yet!
Let's think together - if you post in 5 blogs from our network, you will be getting 5 backlinks for your own blog. This will help you raise your page-rank in search engines.
But you'll also be tapping into 5 different groups of readers. Doesn't this turn you on?
Can I register to become a contributor if i'm not a blogger?
Sure. Blog away! But your sig will only feature a link to a blog. Not a general website.
If I want to quit and close my contributor's account, what happens to the posts I made?
You an stop contributing at any time. Generally, we'll delete your account and posts completely. If we decide to keep any of your posts, we'll ask you first. And your posts will continue to feature your sig, with your link and AdSense code.
If I get banned from the community, what happens to the posts i made?
The same procedure as per above. If we decide to keep any of your posts live, we'll keep on showing your sig along with them. You just won't be able to post with us any more. |
